Hi! We’re Jack & Amy from Stocks, and we’re passionate about food, community, and the joy of sharing both. Based on the stunning Balcaskie Estate in Fife, between Elie and St Monans, our three businesses: Stocks Cookschool, Stocks Kitchen, and Stocks Events, each bring something special to Scotland’s food scene, united by one simple idea: food tastes better when it’s fresh, local, and made with care.
STOCKS Cook School
Stocks Cook School is where we share our love of cooking with people of all abilities. Our hands-on classes, workshops, and residential courses celebrate the best of Fife’s seasonal produce, much of it grown right here on the estate, alongside fresh ingredients from local farms and the East Neuk coastline. From practical cooking techniques to creative, inspiring recipes, our courses are designed to leave you confident, curious, and full of new ideas.
STOCKS Kitchen
Stocks Kitchen is our shop it’s a deli, cookshop, and lifestyle haven, bringing the best of Fife and further afield straight to your home. Alongside fresh, local ingredients and seasonal specialties, you’ll find artisan pantry items, cookware, kitchen tools, stylish homewares, and thoughtfully curated gifts. Whether you’re shopping for inspiration for dinner, a special present, or a little treat for yourself, Stocks Kitchen celebrates local produce, quality products, and the joy of making everyday life a little more delicious.
STOCKS Events
Stocks Events is our catering company. From weddings and private parties to corporate events and community gatherings, we create menus that are seasonal, ingredient-led, and full of flavour. Drawing on the same ethos as our cook school and deli, Stocks Events celebrates local produce and skilled preparation, turning every meal into an experience.
Our Philosophy
Across all three ventures, our philosophy is the same: care, craft, and connection. Whether you’re cooking alongside our chefs, picking up fresh ingredients at our deli, or enjoying a catered event, you’ll experience food that is thoughtful, seasonal, and rooted in Fife’s East Neuk.
